The selected candidate will be responsible for creating precise structural drawings using CAD software, translating design requirements, and collaborating with engineers and architects. Hire Resolve is actively seeking a Structural Draughtsman to join our client's dynamic team in Pretoria (PTA). If you are passionate about delivering precise and innovative structural drawings and thrive in a collaborative environment, this is the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities

• Create accurate structural drawings using CAD software based on client specifications and relevant codes.
• Translate concepts and design requirements into detailed and high-quality technical drawings.
• Participate in project meetings and collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and project managers to meet deadlines.
• Conduct site visits to gather data and ensure designs align with actual conditions.
• Revise drafts based on feedback from senior engineers and adhere to changing project needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of a BTech/BSc/BEng
• At least 5 years of proven experience in structural drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.
• Experience on SANRAL Projects
• Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and structural design principles.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
