Placements24 in Durban seeks an experienced Management Consultant to lead strategy and growth initiatives. The role combines hybrid work, with in-office collaboration and remote work, to advise clients on market entry, competitive positioning, and sustainable expansion in KwaZulu-Natal and beyond.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in management consulting or corporate strategy, strong analytical and presentation skills, and comfort working across remote and office settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline; MBA or equivalent strongly preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or a similar analytical role.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, market analysis, and growth strategy development.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities for clients.
• Develop strategic frameworks and actionable plans to support market entry, expansion, and product development.
• Advise clients on pricing strategies, business model innovation, and mergers and acquisitions.
• Facilitate strategy workshops with client leadership teams to foster alignment and drive decision-making.
• Analyze financial data and market trends to forecast future performance and assess strategic risks.
• Prepare high-impact client deliverables, including strategy presentations and business cases.
• Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to leverage firm-wide capabilities.
• Support business development activities by contributing to proposals and client pitches.
