Job summary

X, bigly labs is seeking a Strategy Associate in Johannesburg to translate strategic ambition into actionable initiatives. You will synthesize complex information into clear insights and enable leadership to make data-driven decisions across functions.

The role combines analytical depth with executional agility and a bias toward action, helping shape the organisation's trajectory and ensure disciplined strategy execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field; Honours/Master's advantageous.
• 2–4 years' experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or business operations.
• Proven experience in analytical problem-solving, executive communication, and cross-functional collaboration

Responsibilities

• Structure and analyse complex business challenges to generate data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Conduct market, competitor, and financial analyses to inform strategic priorities and operational decisions.
• Support the development and refresh of the company's strategic plan, business model, and operating framework.
• Prepare materials for leadership meetings including presentations, business cases, and briefing packs.
• Serve as a strategic connector across teams, bridging insights from People, Product, Operations, and Brand
