Job summary

The South African Breweries seeks an experienced Supply Chain Planner to optimize weekly production and inventory across SAB’s South Africa network. You will connect sales, production, logistics and finance to generate feasible 16-week plans that meet service levels while minimizing obsolescence and costs.

Candidates should hold a relevant Bachelor’s degree and have 1–3 years FMCG experience. Occasional travel to breweries may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Logistics, Engineering or related Commerce field.
• 1–3 years FMCG experience preferred.
• Occasional travel to breweries may be required.

Responsibilities

• Generate weekly production and inventory plans for the supply network over 16 weeks.
• Manage WSNP planning system(s) and master data.
• Communicate with Supply, MRP, Packaging, Demand Planning, and other teams.
• Review inputs (capacity, demand, yields, downtime, material availability) to minimize costs and meet KPI targets.
• Track execution of production/inventory plans and report KPI performance.
• Identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities from data.
• Drive OTIF delivery and VILC savings.
• Prepare for Weekly S&OE meetings.
