FNB in Johannesburg seeks a Vendor Management Specialist to manage SLAs, contracting and procurement across the bank. You will develop and govern relationships with third‑party vendors, ensuring governance, contractual obligations and performance delivery.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in vendor management or procurement, ICT exposure, and preferably a CIPS certification. This role offers exposure to group‑level engagements and challenging procurement environments.

Formación

• Have a degree (B Com, B Com Hons, BSc, BSc Hons, BSc Engineering, Supply Chain Degree).
• 5-7 years progressive experience in a Vendor management and/or procurement role in a similar sized organization including 2-3 years’ ICT experience preferred.
• Ideally CIPS certification.
• Comprehensive knowledge of vendor management concepts and methodologies.
• Extensive experience in vendor management, relationship management, contract management, procurement, IT and banking industry knowledge preferred.
• Understanding governance structures for vendor management programs and risk oversight.
• Ability to analyse data, interpret results and provide recommendations.
• Advanced analytical skills to resolve complex issues in vendor management.
• Excellent business and commercial acumen.

Responsabilidades

• Drive effective vendor management practices and improve collaboration with vendor partners to maintain, evaluate, and enhance relationships, SLA, and contracting.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders with external partners across the group for vendor engagements.
• Provide ongoing advice and guidance to business on operational vendor management and governance, with strong influencing skills.
• Facilitate problem resolution and ensure supplier relationships are protected by contract terms.
• Promote vendor governance and communicate policies, frameworks and guidelines to stakeholders.
• Assist with Total Cost of Ownership analysis and monitor business cases from Finance, Business, and vendors.
• Support budgeting processes from a commercial and financial perspective for demand and priorities.
