Job summary

South African Reserve Bank is seeking a Talent Sourcer for a 12-month fixed-term contract at Head Office in Pretoria. The role focuses on proactive talent sourcing for critical skills, building pipelines, and leveraging data-driven insights to inform recruitment and workforce planning.

You will partner with recruitment teams and hiring managers, engage passive candidates, and contribute to employer branding while maintaining compliant talent records. The closing date is 4 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources/Social Sciences or equivalent.
• 5–8 years Recruitment and Selection experience in corporate and agency environments.
• Proven track record of successful placements at various levels.
• Experience in MS Office applications and talent acquisition software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies aligned to the Bank’s Talent Acquisition strategy and workforce requirements.
• Conduct talent market research, mapping and intelligence to identify critical skills, talent pools and trends.
• Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines and talent communities for critical, scarce and future-focused skills.
• Identify and engage passive talent through innovative sourcing methodologies, networks and platforms.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition Partners and hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and develop differentiated sourcing strategies.
• Provide talent-market intelligence to inform recruitment and workforce planning decisions.
• Leverage sourcing technology and data analytics to improve reach and efficiency.
• Maintain relationships with external talent ecosystems, including universities and professional bodies.
