Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of procurement experience with focus on strategic sourcing and category management.
• Demonstrated success in negotiating complex contracts and achieving cost savings.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data and market intelligence.
• Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive and results-oriented mindset.
• Experience in the retail sector is a significant advantage.
• Knowledge of ethical sourcing practices and sustainability in supply chains.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify sourcing opportunities and risks.
• Develop and implement category strategies for key spend areas, focusing on cost reduction and value enhancement.
• Manage the end-to-end sourcing process, including RFx development, supplier evaluation, and selection.
• Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and SLAs with suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with strategic suppliers.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement solutions meet business requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
• Assist in developing and managing procurement budgets.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements within procurement.
