Job summary

Metso is seeking a Sourcing Manager, CNS Procurement in Centurion with a hybrid work model. You will lead sourcing and category management for CNS procurement categories, developing supplier strategies and commercial agreements to support profitability, supply continuity, quality, and compliance.

You will report to the VP, Consumables Procurement, and work with teams across procurement, quality, logistics, and project delivery to optimize supplier performance and value for Africa operations.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in engineering, supply chain, procurement, business, or related field.
• Strong experience in sourcing, category management, procurement, supplier development, or project procurement in heavy industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with CNS procurement priorities for assigned categories.
• Identify, qualify, onboard and develop suppliers to improve competitiveness and lead times.
• Negotiate framework agreements, terms, and contracts while managing strategic supplier relationships.
• Monitor supplier performance, drive cost savings and procurement synergies.
• Support operations by resolving supplier escalations and availability risks.
• Collaborate with quality, operations, and analytics teams on supplier performance and readiness.
