Job summary

Sasol in Secunda, South Africa, seeks a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead end-to-end sourcing for critical raw materials, services and capital equipment across the energy and chemicals portfolio.

Reporting to the Head of Global Procurement, the incumbent will develop sourcing strategies, negotiate high-value contracts and drive cost-optimization initiatives while ensuring compliance with governance and sustainability standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of strategic sourcing experience in energy or chemicals.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, SCM or related field.
• CPSM/CIPS/PMP certifications desirable.
• Strong negotiation, analytics and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing for raw materials, services and capital equipment.
• Develop sourcing strategies and negotiate high-value contracts.
• Drive cost-optimization while complying with governance and sustainability.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and finance on specifications.
• Manage supplier performance with KPIs and scorecards.
• Present business cases and cost analyses for approvals.
• Mentor procurement staff and promote innovation.
