Edgexec (Pty) Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Remote General Manager to lead operations and drive growth for a business unit operating remotely across South Africa. This role requires strategic direction, P&L ownership, and the ability to optimize performance without a central office.

The successful candidate will manage distributed teams, implement remote work technologies, and foster a high-performance culture while delivering on financial targets.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive management experience, including senior leadership roles.
• Experience leading and managing large, distributed/remote teams.
• Expertise in P&L management, strategic planning, and operational efficiency.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with remote work technologies and project management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and overall management of remote operational functions, ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Directly manage the P&L for the operational unit, setting budgets, forecasts, and financial targets.
• Develop and implement operational strategies for a distributed workforce.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire geographically dispersed teams with high performance.
• Oversee customer service, project delivery, and administrative functions.
