Job summary

SavageOne Pty Ltd is seeking a Project Manager to oversee and drive the successful delivery of projects managed through the PMO. You will ensure alignment with scope, timelines, budget, and stakeholder expectations, while maintaining governance and thorough documentation.

The role requires 3–6 years of project management experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication and reporting skills to coordinate cross-functional teams and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12).
• 3–6 years experience managing projects in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and drive delivery of projects managed through the PMO.
• Develop comprehensive project plans aligned with approved scope, timelines and budget.
• Adhere to governance frameworks.
• Create and manage a detailed work breakdown structure.
• Identify stakeholders and define roles using the RACI model.
• Maintain risk register and mitigation strategy.
• Establish and implement a clear communication plan.
• Report on project progress relative to timelines and cost.
• Ensure documentation of engagements, tasks and deliverables.
• Manage project scope in line with the business case.
• Define and agree upon acceptance criteria with delivery stakeholders.
• Schedule and conduct regular status meetings.
• Monitor task completion and milestones and address issues.
• Escalate if necessary to avoid delays.
• Submit weekly project status reports to stakeholders and steering committees.
• Develop and maintain a responsibility matrix for stakeholders.
• Coordinate supplier onboarding and performance expectations.
• Oversee supplier engagement to ensure deliverables.
• Act as a project resource in customer-facing projects with time tracking for billable services.
• Measure outcomes against success criteria for at least three months post-completion.
• Foster relationships with marketing, product, business analysis, DevOps, support, and L&D teams.
