Job summary

Momentum in Cape Town is seeking a Programme Manager to lead the delivery of multiple programmes from initiation to close-out, ensuring alignment with governance, risk and audit requirements. You will oversee a portfolio of interconnected projects to achieve strategic objectives and drive high performance through clear direction and proactive leadership.

Qualifications

7+ years experience in a dedicated project management position.
Experience with managing large-scale programmes from conceptualisation to close-out.
3-5 years in a senior management position (desirable). Insurance or financial industry experience (desirable).

Responsibilities

Investigate the feasibility of programmes that support business objectives.
Develop programme business cases for approval in line with requirements.
Define programme scope, manage schedules, and cross-project dependencies across scope, schedule, budget and risks.
Collaborate with PMO, team and stakeholders to ensure deliverables align to objectives.
Manage risks and issues across the programme life cycle and escalate as needed.
Plan overall programme and monitor milestones across projects.
Manage the programme budget and identify opportunities for cost efficiency.
Provide authoritative advice to clients and stakeholders.
Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal/external stakeholders.
Contribute to the financial planning process and deliver on SLAs.
