Placements24 is seeking a proactive Production Planner to join our operations team in Sandton. You will develop and manage production schedules to ensure efficient manufacturing operations and timely order fulfillment, coordinating with sales, procurement, and production to optimize workflows.

The role requires strong analytical and organizational abilities, proficiency with ERP systems, and the capacity to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Production Planner or similar planning role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and planning principles.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems and production planning software.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts and resource availability.
• Coordinate with sales, procurement, and production departments to ensure seamless workflow.
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to support production plans.
• Identify potential production constraints and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
• Analyze production performance data and adjust schedules as necessary to meet targets.
