Job summary

Momentum is seeking a Product Owner to maximise sustainable business value by translating strategy into prioritised technology-enabled products. You will work with cross-functional squads to convert strategic direction into actionable delivery, ensuring alignment with regulatory, financial and architectural guardrails.

The role concentrates on What and When of delivery, driving value progression. Ideal candidates have 5–8+ years in product ownership or related roles, with strong backlog

Qualifications

• Minimum: Relevant tertiary qualification in business, technology, product, finance or related field.
• Agile, product ownership or delivery-related certification is advantageous.
• 5–8+ years’ experience in product ownership, business analysis, delivery management or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Own and refine the product backlog to reflect strategic priorities, value, risk, regulatory requirements and squad capacity.
• Provide day-to-day execution leadership to ensure work is well defined, prioritized and delivered value-led.
• Translate initiatives into clear user stories, acceptance criteria and squad-ready requirements.
• Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning and prioritisation within the squad.
• Track delivery progress and ensure alignment with defined OKRs and measurable outcomes.
• Identify blockers, risks, dependencies, or constraints affecting delivery timelines and value realization.
• Partner with Architects, Business Analysts and delivery teams to ensure feasibility and alignment with strategy and governance.
