Job summary
Tracker South Africa is seeking a dynamic Product Owner to join our Development & Engineering team in Centurion. You will bridge business needs and technical delivery, shaping product requirements and prioritizing initiatives to maximize customer value and business outcomes.
In this role you will own the product roadmap, collaborate with stakeholders and development teams, refine requirements, validate acceptance criteria, and manage release cycles in an agile environment.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma with 4+ years of relevant work experience.
- Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) or CPM certification is a plus.
- Experience with SCRUM AGILE methodology required.
- UX design concepts including flowcharting, wireframes, and prototyping beneficial.
- UI design experience for validating design is advantageous.
- Experience in gathering, refining, and translating requirements for delivery.
- Experience in stakeholder management and aligning expectations.
- Experience delivering web or mobile applications with a development team.
- Familiarity with whiteboarding/presentation tools like Miro or Figma is helpful.
- Experience managing product roadmaps and backlogs; Azure DevOps familiarity recommended.
Responsibilities
- Own the product backlog and ensure proper prioritization by value.
- Define and validate acceptance criteria for user stories.
- Own and manage release cycles across platforms.
- Deliver digital applications in collaboration with development teams.
- Set metrics to evaluate product success and drive continuous improvement.
