Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join their Welkom operations. You will manage sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing to ensure quality, timely delivery, and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities include end-to-end procurement for categories, supplier evaluation, PO processing, and maintaining supplier performance records, with collaboration across internal teams to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in procurement or purchasing.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and MS Excel for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for assigned categories, including sourcing, RFQ/RFP, negotiation, and award.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring they meet quality, ethical, and financial standards.
• Negotiate favorable pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost reductions and optimize value.
• Process purchase orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
• Maintain comprehensive records of procurement activities and supplier performance metrics.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide procurement support.
