The Voith Group in South Africa seeks a Procurement Manager to lead the VTZA Procurement department and drive sourcing and purchasing of productive and non-productive materials in line with Voith policy. You will evaluate suppliers, manage strategic contracts, and ensure data integrity in the Navision/Business Central ERP system.

You will lead the purchasing team, drive supplier development, and support BBEE goals while coordinating with internal customers to ensure timely deliveries and cost

Formación

• Degree in Procurement or Supply chain management & Logistics.
• Technical qualification in engineering: mechanical or industrial.
• Advanced MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint; ERP experience (Navision, Business Central or SAP).
• Experience in procurement and supplier management in an engineering environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Purchasing team and overall responsibility for VTZA Procurement department.
• Source spares, materials, services, and sub-assemblies from suppliers.
• Negotiate supplier quality, price, delivery and quantity to optimise economies of scale.
• Manage contracts/agreements and ensure optimal supply continuity.
• Ensure 92% on-time delivery and maintain NAV/BC/Purchasing data integrity.
