Qualifications

• 10–15 years of progressive procurement and supply chain experience.
• At least 5 years in senior management or executive roles.
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
• Experience managing multi-market portfolios across Sub-Saharan Africa.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement overarching procurement strategies that support group objectives.
• Source, benchmark, and evaluate local and international suppliers for a resilient Africa-wide network.
• Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and MSAs to leverage economies of scale.
• Conduct market analysis and supplier benchmarking to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop sourcing strategies to minimize cross-border risks and currency exposure.
• Review high-value requisitions and ensure competitive multi-source quotations.
• Enforce procurement procedures, approval limits, and governance frameworks.
• Oversee PO issuance, expediting, and communication of delays to the executive team.
• Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and contract repositories.
• Lead procurement audits and ensure compliance documentation.
