Job summary

Bidvest Bank in Sandton is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead the end-to-end procurement strategy, governance, and supplier relationships in support of business objectives.

You will oversee budgets, cost-reduction initiatives, contracts, and a high-performance procurement team, ensuring compliance with BBBEE requirements and regulatory frameworks while partnering with stakeholders across Finance, Legal, and Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field (CIPS preferred).
• 5–7 years’ experience in Finance and business roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement budgets and track spend against targets.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficiency strategies.
• Draft and manage procurement contracts in line with policies.
• Lead and develop the procurement team for high performance.
• Ensure BBBEE and regulatory compliance across procurement activities.
• Maintain supplier databases and run ESG reporting.
