Job summary

Nedbank is seeking an experienced procurement professional to support the Sourcing and Category Management team in end-to-end procurement activities. The role focuses on RFx management, contract administration, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring governance and compliance across processes.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Procurement/Logistics/Supply Chain (NQF6+), with at least five years of procurement experience and strong SAP and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' procurement experience with sourcing and contract administration.
• Strong computer literacy with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Proficient in SAP procurement systems.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple sourcing projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide procurement support to the Sourcing and Category Management team to enable efficient Procurement delivery.
• Manage end-to-end Request for Proposals (RFPs) including RFQs in line with Nedbank Group Procurement policies, governance requirements and applicable legislation.
• Prepare tender documents, coordinate supplier communication, track bid submissions, and maintain procurement schedules and evaluation records.
• Support supplier evaluation and due diligence by collecting, validating, and maintaining supplier information on capability, compliance, risk, B-BBEE status, and commercial requirements.
• Coordinate tender evaluations by compiling evaluation packs, recording outcomes, and maintaining supporting documentation.
• Maintain supplier contracts and sourcing documentation, ensuring agreements are current, accurate, audit-ready, and governance compliant.
• Capture, update, and maintain procurement data in relevant systems, databases, and reporting tools.
• Support procurement month-end reporting and management information requirements.
• Attend to internal stakeholder and supplier queries within agreed SLAs, provide timely feedback, and keep management informed of progress and key issues.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure adherence to company and Group Procurement policies, escalating risks, issues, or non-compliance when required.
