Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of paralegal experience, with demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and prepare legal documents.
• Experience in title and survey review, real estate transactions, litigation, collections, or bankruptcy is highly desirable.
• Certified Paralegal and/or Legal Assistant Certification preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Mergers & Acquisitions: Conduct legal research, investigate facts, and prepare documentation to support M&A, Compliance, and Operations teams.
• Asset Optimization & Real Estate: Review title commitments, surveys, and related documents to ensure accuracy and compliance; draft and review leases and related documents; coordinate closings.
• Legal Document Management: Prepare or assist in contracts and other legal instruments; review and organize ground leases, tenant leases, and related documents.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with vendors, ground lessors, tenants, and outside counsel; visit government offices to complete legal tasks.
• Administrative & Reporting Duties: Maintain legal trackers, checklists, and reports; coordinate lease registrations and related documents.
