Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee critical operational projects for non-profit initiatives in Randburg. You will plan, execute and finalize projects, coordinating internal teams and external contractors to align with the organization’s mission and objectives.

The role requires a strategic thinker with 5+ years in project management, excellent communication, and a track record of driving operational efficiency in a non-profit or social impact setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; PMP certification is a strong asset.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
• Experience in operational management or process improvement within a non-profit setting is highly preferred.
• Solid organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business and organizational objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Coordinate and manage internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Track project milestones and deliverables, ensuring successful completion within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.
• Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
