Job summary

ProjectLink is seeking a Project Risk Specialist for a nine-month, full-time assignment on a mining project in Centurion. The role focuses on establishing a structured risk-management process, facilitating risk discussions, and ensuring active monitoring of identified risks throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have PMP and PMI‑RMP certifications, at least five years of experience in mining risk management, and strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills to lead

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in project risk management.
• Experience in mining projects is required.
• Proven ability to facilitate risk assessments and workshops.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Project Risk Management Plan for the next project phases.
• Establish, maintain and update the project risk register.
• Assess contract and project-related risks.
• Prepare the Project Insurance Risk Assessment Report.
• Plan and facilitate risk assessments and risk workshops with stakeholders.
• Identify, assess and prioritise risks with project and technical teams.
• Assign and monitor risk-mitigation actions with owners and due dates.
• Track risk exposure changes and escalate significant concerns.
