Job summary

Helderberg Personnel in Stellenbosch is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join its finance team. You will develop budgets, forecast financial performance, and support cost accounting and inventory valuation, partnering with department heads to drive efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in management accounting, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Excel and accounting software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CIMA or CA(SA) qualification preferred.
• At least 4 years in management accounting or financial analysis.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and reporting knowledge.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts with departments.
• Analyze performance against budgets, explain variances.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards for leadership.
• Oversee cost accounting, product costing and inventory valuation.
• Provide financial modeling for strategic initiatives.
• Maintain financial controls and data integrity.
