Mr Price Group in Durban is seeking a Management Accountant to lead forecasting and analysis of management accounts, providing high-quality financial insights to support business growth.

Responsibilities include monthly forecasts, financial analysis, reporting packs, auditor liaison, budgeting support, and ad hoc finance projects. CA(SA) with 2–3 years post-articles and strong Excel skills preferred.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) qualification is required.
• 2–3 years' post-articles experience is advantageous.
• Exposure to Retail and FMCG industries is advantageous but not essential.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel.

Responsabilités

• Preparing and updating monthly financial forecasts.
• Conducting financial analysis.
• Preparing half-year and year-end reporting packs.
• Liaising with auditors during key reporting periods.
• Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and strategy packs.
• Preparing monthly management accounts and performing financial forecasting and report writing.
• Assisting with ad hoc projects where Finance input is required.
