Job summary

HR Options seeks an Operations Planning Co-ordinator to join the Logistics Department. The role reports to the Logistics Planning Supervisor and requires strong planning, coordination, and communication skills to ensure timely execution of orders.

The ideal candidate will have a Matric, 3+ years in logistics/planning/customer services, and SAP Oil-In-One experience, with advantageous exposure to the chemical or petrochemical sectors and bulk liquid storage operations.

Qualifications

• Matric is required.
• SAP Oil-In-One experience.
• Logistics/ Supply Chain/ Operations degree preferred.
• 3+ years in Logistics/ Planning/ Customer Services.
• Experience in Chemical/Petrochemical sector preferred.
• Experience in Bulk Liquid Storage/Terminal operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Track and monitor progress against operations plan.
• Flag variances from plan to Managers and Shift Supervisors.
• Update orders afterhours and communicate changes to sites.
• Follow up on orders not actioned on planned dates.
• Monitor vehicle status and escalate delays to Managers.
• Coordinate and record vehicle over/under loads.
• Pre-advise Sasol export containers onto Navis.
• Complete Sasol Dangerous Goods Declaration for isotainers & flexi-tainers.
• Liaise with sites to ensure efficient execution of planned activities.
• Report delays or constraints to customers and management.
• Escalate customer complaints to the appropriate managers.
• Ensure compliance with planning procedures and work instructions.
