Job summary

Together Staffing group in Durban is assisting a client to hire an experienced Operations Coordinator to lead their local team and optimize daily logistics processes. The role requires strong coordination, excellent Excel skills, and the ability to liaise with customers, suppliers and transporters while ensuring on-time delivery and tight ETA adherence.

Candidates should have 2–3 years in operations/logistics roles, a relevant qualification, and willingness to be on call in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in an operations, logistics, or supply chain coordination role.
• Experience liaising with customers, suppliers, and transporters.
• Experience processing orders from procurement to delivery.
• Must be comfortable managing transporters and ensuring ETA adherence.
• Advanced Excel skills and system proficiency.
• Willingness to be on call 24/7 in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the operations team in Durban.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and transporters to ensure smooth operations.
• Oversee end-to-end order processing from procurement to delivery.

Minimum Requirements:

• National Senior Certificate.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Logistics/Supply Chain or Finance qualification.
• 2–3 years of experience in an operations, logistics, or supply chain coordination role, preferably within the Fuel, Oil, or Petrochemical industry.
• Strong coordination and communication skills, with experience liaising with customers, suppliers, and transporters.
• Experience processing orders from start to finish (procurement to delivery).
• Must be comfortable managing transporters and ensuring strict ETA adherence.
• Advanced Excel skills and system proficiency.
