Qualifications

• Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
• Familiarity with transportation and dispatch coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours if required by operational needs.
• A valid driver’s license is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.
• Ensure accurate inventory management through regular stock counts and reconciliation processes.
• Manage and motivate a team of warehouse staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Coordinate with transport providers to ensure timely and cost-effective outbound deliveries.
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures within the distribution center.
• Train new employees on warehouse operations, safety procedures, and equipment usage.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory or shipments.
• Maintain records of goods received and dispatched, and manage delivery documentation.
