Placements24 is seeking a results-driven Key Account Manager to join our sales team in Klerksdorp, South Africa. You will nurture and grow relationships with major FMCG retail partners, ensure optimal product placement, and drive sales performance within designated accounts.

The ideal candidate has at least four years of B2B sales or account management experience in FMCG, with strong negotiation and communication skills, and a solid understanding of retail operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field.
• 4+ years in sales or account management in FMCG retail.
• Proven ability to manage large retail accounts and drive growth.
• Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of retail operations and SA FMCG market dynamics.
• Proficiency with CRM and sales analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic account plans for key retail clients to achieve targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers at major retail chains.
• Negotiate contracts, promotions, and product placements for visibility and sales.
• Monitor account performance and provide regular sales analytics and insights.
• Collaborate with marketing, supply chain and finance to execute plans.
