Job summary

Virbac seeks an experienced IT Manager in South Africa to lead the digital transformation for the local affiliate. You will align applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data analytics with global standards and local objectives.

The role drives operational excellence, implements AI and automation, and ensures compliance with POPI Act. You will partner with business functions, manage the IT portfolio, and coach a small team to deliver robust IT services.

Qualifications

• BSC in Information Technology or equivalent.
• Diploma in Project Management or equivalent.
• Cloud platform certification (AWS/Azure) or similar.
• AI literacy certification or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of professional IT experience.

Responsibilities

• Define local IT infrastructure strategy (cloud/hybrid) and annual IT budget (OPEX/CAPEX).
• Lead cybersecurity governance, IAM, MSSP oversight, and POPI Act compliance.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance to align IT with business goals and drive data/AI strategy.
• Coach and develop IT staff and ensure high-quality service delivery to internal units.
