• Degree in Supply Chain/Procurement or related field is essential.
• 5–7 years SCM experience with 3+ years in management.
• Proven track record of cost savings and driving down costs.
• Strong project management skills.
• Experience with contract manufacturers.
• Strong commercial and financial understanding.
• Negotiation skills from strategic/complex negotiations.
• Strategic sourcing and demand-supply management.
• Influencing and collaboration across teams; strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain procurement strategies per sub-category to ensure lowest cost and top performance over the short term and into the long term.
• Plan and coordinate with suppliers to align growth strategies.
• Identify supplier and supply chain risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
• Provide input into overall SCM strategies and plans, including planning, quality and projects.
• Manage supplier list and procurement strategies.
• Spend analysis.
• Develop team capabilities in category management, strategic sourcing, and commercial understanding/negotiation.
• Develop and implement category procurement plans.
• Prioritise the work of the team to ensure focus and achievement of SCM strategies, plans and goals.
• Develop a high performing team and KPI scorecard.
• Drive strong support for category management through supplier performance.
• Plan career development opportunities with each team member.
• Perform any other adhoc duties as required.
