Job summary

Edgexec (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Business Systems Analyst focused on Human Resources & Modern Worker to support, maintain and enhance HR applications across a national logistics environment. You will translate business requirements into system solutions, ensuring data integrity, compliance and reliable HR tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• Over 4 years in a Business Analyst role within IT.
• Experience with SAP ECC 6 and SAP HCM, SAP Payroll and related modules.
• Strong understanding of HR processes including payroll, time management and learning.
• Proven ability to gather requirements, document processes and coordinate system analyses.
• Experience leading teams or coordinating projects to improve system performance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly SAP HCM maintenance lifecycle from requests to updates.
• Support HR systems across organisational management, payroll, time, attendance and performance management.
• Prioritise actions with business owners based on urgency and impact.
• Analyse requests and coordinate with tech teams to implement solutions.
• Maintain alignment across development, QA, and sandbox ERP environments.
• Support design and enhancement of modern worker solutions (intranet, talent management, org charts).
• Coordinate SAP patches and payroll tax updates for tax cycles.
• Validate legal updates with business experts and obtain user sign-off.
• Prepare go-live plans and coordinate implementation activities.
• Gather and document requirements for HR system enhancements and projects.
• Produce functional specs, process flows and project plans.
