Placements24 is seeking a strategic HR Business Partner to support teams in Stellenbosch and the Western Cape. You will partner with business leaders to drive HR initiatives, support organizational development, and foster a high-performance, engaging culture.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as an HR BP, strong SA labour law knowledge, and a passion for tech startups. This role offers remote flexibility with occasional team gatherings and a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner in tech/startup environments.
• Strong understanding of SA labour law and HR best practices.
• Experience in employee relations, performance management and talent development.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing HR guidance and support to achieve objectives.
• Develop and implement HR strategies that support business unit goals and engagement.
• Manage employee relations issues, conducting investigations and providing resolution.
• Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and development plans.
• Collaborate on talent management initiatives, including succession planning and leadership development.
• Support organizational design and change management efforts.
• Advise on compensation and benefits, ensuring competitiveness and fairness.
• Promote and embody the company's culture and values.
• Stay informed about HR industry trends and best practices.
