Job summary

Sanlam Corporate seeks an experienced HR Business Partner to partner with Core Operations, delivering strategic people initiatives and ensuring workforce effectiveness in a dynamic financial services environment.

You will drive talent management, succession planning, organisational design and employee engagement, while advising leaders on policies, procedures and compliance across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Human Resources is required.
• Postgraduate qualification is preferred.
• 5–7 years' HR generalist experience in corporate/financial services.

Responsibilities

• Strategic partnering with senior leaders to translate business goals into people strategies.
• Provide trusted advisory support on people-related matters across the portfolio.
• Lead talent management, succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
• Oversee organisational design, onboarding and HR data management.
• Ensure compliant application of HR policies and labour legislation.
