PPS Recruitment is seeking a lead for commercial intelligence within the Growth function in South Africa. The role will transform sales and activity data into clear insights, supporting the Head of Growth and Manco with timely, evidence-based decisions.

You will set direction for Regional Growth Analysts and ensure data quality across regions. Candidates should bring a quantitative degree and 3+ years in analytics, with strong Excel and BI tool experience.

Competenze

• Quantitative degree such as BCom Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Econometrics or related field.
• Honours or postgraduate qualification preferred.
• Analytics, data visualisation or BI certification advantageous.
• 3+ years’ experience in commercial/analytics with data-driven decisions.
• Experience reconciling multiple data sources, forecasting and measuring intervention impact.
• Advanced Excel and BI tools; SQL, Python or R advantageous.

Mansioni

• Integrate and analyse sales, activity, quote, conversion, pipeline, adviser, client, product and revenue data to provide growth insights.
• Diagnose drivers, correlations and root causes, distinguishing signal from noise.
• Translate analyses into concise commercial conclusions and recommended actions with measurable impact.
• Provide executive-ready performance narratives and decision papers for Growth leadership.
• Coordinate with Regional Growth Analysts to ensure data quality and regional alignment.
