Qualifications

• CA(SA) advantageous
• Proven experience as a Financial Manager or Senior Finance Professional
• Strong experience with group consolidations and financial reporting
• Construction, engineering, infrastructure, or project-based industry experience advantageous
• Strong operational finance exposure
• Hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities
• Must be immediately available or available on short notice

Responsibilities

• Manage the full finance function within the organisation
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts
• Perform group and entity consolidations
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes
• Provide operational finance support to business units and project teams
• Analyse financial performance and provide strategic recommendations
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger integrity
• Manage tax, VAT, and statutory compliance requirements
• Liaise with auditors and assist with audit processes
• Monitor financial controls and identify process improvement opportunities
• Support senior management with financial analysis and decision-making
• Ensure accurate project costing and profitability reporting
• Lead and mentor finance team members where required
