Job summary

Network Finance is seeking a commercially astute CA(SA) to lead the full financial management function and partner with the MD and EXCO on strategy and growth. This executive role includes share options and a seat at the table to translate financial decisions into operational performance.

You will drive budgeting, forecasting, reporting and risk management while leveraging automation and AI to improve efficiency and decision-making.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) with 7+ years post-articles experience.
• Proven senior leadership experience.
• Industrial industry experience preferred; candidates from operational, product-based environments will be considered.
• Strong strategic and commercial business partnering capabilities.
• Expertise in full financial management, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Advanced MS Excel, including dashboards and financial modelling.
• AI tools and automation experience advantageous.
• Executive presence, sound commercial judgement and the ability to influence business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full financial management function.
• Partner with the MD and EXCO on strategy, growth and key business decisions.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and financial planning and analysis.
• Oversee financial reporting, compliance and governance.
• Provide commercial insights to support profitability and performance.
• Strengthen stock control and working capital management.
• Support strategic projects with financial modelling and analysis.
• Drive financial controls, risk management and process improvement.
• Leverage automation and AI tools to improve efficiency and reporting.
