Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
• Feed/agriculture industry experience essential.
• Strong commercial acumen and ERP/SAP expertise.
• Understanding of agricultural commodity markets and feed raw materials.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the animal feed industry.
• Computer skills and data analysis capability.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
• Assertiveness and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate within governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement costs against budgets and market conditions, incl. commodity volatility.
• Align procurement with production requirements and ensure timely availability of materials.
• Execute day-to-day purchasing through SAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage supplier contracts from negotiation to execution and monitor performance.
• Provide procurement support across packaging, SHEQ, and engineering purchases.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers to secure reliable supply and favorable terms.
• Maintain procurement records and provide regular reporting on performance and risks.
