Job summary

Wesbank in Johannesburg is seeking an Executive Assistant (Research) to partner with executives and leadership teams to shape and deliver strategy and manage key projects from planning to completion.

You will build cross-functional relationships, consolidate analyses, prepare strategy documents and Exco materials, and track actions and governance metrics to monitor progress. Experience with banking research and governance is a plus.

Qualifications

• Economics related degree required.
• Post-graduate degree preferred; CA(SA) / CFA mandatory for certain positions.
• At least 2 years as an Economic Analyst

Responsibilities

• Drive growth by assisting to shape and deliver strategy in partnership with executives and leadership teams.
• Project manage strategic activities and ensure delivery of objectives.
• Coordinate strategy sessions, offsites and governance dashboards.
