Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a strategic and driven Business Development Manager to expand its energy solutions footprint in the Gauteng region. Based in Sandton, you will identify opportunities, build relationships with decision-makers, and drive revenue growth for energy products and services.

You will shape market strategy and contribute to success in a dynamic market with a hybrid work approach, balancing client interactions and planning.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (MBA a plus).
Minimum of 7 years in business development, sales, or strategic account management, preferably in energy.
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building client relationships.
Strong understanding of energy markets, technologies, and business models.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the energy sector and develop strategic partnerships.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations.
Understand client needs and present energy solutions to meet them.
Negotiate contract terms and close deals to ensure profitability and satisfaction.
