Job summary

Yellosa in Johannesburg seeks a Head of Digital Transformation to lead the IT and digital agenda across multi-site operations. You will drive AI-enabled initiatives to boost operational efficiency and oversee governance, cybersecurity, and vendor relationships.

The role requires a Master’s in IT/CS and a minimum of 10 years’ experience, including 5+ years in senior management. A competitive, permanent package is offered.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in digital transformation, including at least 5 years in a senior management role.
• Experience across multi-site operations; industry experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the IT and digital transformation strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead the implementation of digital and AI-enabled solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Deliver end-to-end digital transformation projects on time, within budget, and to agreed outcomes.
• Enable data-driven decision-making through enterprise analytics and business intelligence.
• Oversee IT governance, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and technology risk management.
• Manage strategic IT vendors, technology partnerships, and outsourced services.
• Partner with senior management to align technology initiatives with business priorities.
• Build and lead a high-performing IT team.
