Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in Debt Collection or Credit Control.
• 1 to 3 years of experience specifically with Credit Insurance.
• Experience working within a legal firm is highly advantageous.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and annual financial statements.
• Knowledge of legal processes including liquidations and business rescue.

Responsibilities

• Use creative approaches to recover outstanding debt and improve cash flow.
• Provide support to Credit Risk Advisors for high service delivery.
• Manage legal files, update statuses, and oversee insurance processes.
• Assess client paperwork for strengths and weaknesses in collection.
• Build trust-based relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Utilize systems to capture correspondence and track workflows.
