AVBOB Group is seeking a proactive Legal practitioner to join its legal team in Gauteng. You will manage the entire contract lifecycle—from drafting and reviewing to execution, renewals, and archiving—ensuring all agreements align with policy and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full contract lifecycle from drafting, through execution, renewals and archiving.
• Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies.
• Maintain an accurate contract database and filing system; capture all agreements.
• Monitor key contract dates and milestones; issue reminders to stakeholders.
• Prepare and present contract status reports and compliance metrics for management.
• Draft, review and update contract templates and legal documents in collaboration with senior legal staff.
• Conduct legal research and support small legal projects as needed.
• Assist with SLAs, confidentiality agreements, and tender contracts.
• Participate in internal client meetings and provide legal advisory on contractual matters.
• Support audit and reporting functions related to contracts.
• Assist the legal team with daily admin tasks and stay updated on legislative changes affecting contracts.
