Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Communications Manager to lead our strategic communications, overseeing internal and external messaging and media relations, while working fully remotely. You will drive crisis communication plans and coordinate with stakeholders to amplify our brand.

The role requires 7+ years in corporate communications, strong writing and public speaking skills, and a proven ability to manage complex projects across remote teams. A master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications or public relations.
• Proven experience in developing and executing successful communication strategies.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and public speaking skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams remotely.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated communication strategies, including internal, external, and media relations.
• Manage corporate messaging, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand values.
• Oversee the creation of compelling content for press releases, speeches, presentations, and digital platforms.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts and influencers.
• Lead crisis communication efforts, developing and implementing response plans.
• Analyze communication effectiveness and provide strategic recommendations for improvement.
