G-Core Capital seeks an experienced executive to lead the sales and procurement function within its South African operations. You will optimize the supply chain pipeline, manage inventories, and ensure accurate monthly management accounts and financial reporting.

The role requires extensive experience in sales/procurement, strong leadership, and a solid background in the steel sector. A relevant degree and a valid driver’s license are essential for success.

Qualifikationen

• Matric and relevant tertiary qualification (NQF7) in Business/Financial, Supply Chain or Engineering.
• 6–8 years industry experience in Sales/Procurement with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Steel background advantageous with knowledge of procurement, pipeline management and financial reporting.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong computer literacy and MS Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Project Management experience is an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Manage the department’s sales and procurement function.
• Oversee supply chain pipeline management with optimal inventory control.
• Review and approve quotations and orders per DOA with suppliers.
• Liaise with customers, maintain key accounts and resolve issues.
• Manage month-end financial processes (Sales, Stock, Expenses).
• Provide management accounting analysis and reporting (Sales, GP, Expenses) and ensure compliance.
• Manage debtors/creditors and working capital.
• Lead annual budgeting and strategic planning for sales and procurement.
• Develop strategies for sales, procurement and new business initiatives.
• Supervise and develop the sales/procurement team with KPAs and career plans.
