Job summary

Herotel Telecoms (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Cloud & Cyber Security Manager to lead our cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure from Plattekloof. You will own cyber security, disaster recovery programmes, and IT governance, risk and compliance, reporting to Exco and the Audit Committee.

The role requires a strategic, hands-on leader who can drive ISO 27001 certification and manage a security-focused team, with extensive experience in cloud security and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or a related field.
• At least 10 years in IT, including cloud or cyber security and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Set cloud strategy and roadmap for AWS and Azure.
• Own cloud architecture and governance including IAM and network security.
• Lead disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Oversee ISO 27001 certification and ISMS reviews.
• Report cyber risk and DR readiness to Exco and Audit Committee.
