Placements24 is seeking a strategic Cloud Solutions Architect in Port Elizabeth to design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing cloud solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their services.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of networking, security principles, and data management in cloud environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect resilient, scalable, and secure cloud-based solutions.
• Develop technical roadmaps and strategies for cloud adoption and migration projects.
• Evaluate and recommend cloud services and technologies to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure successful implementation and deployment of cloud architectures.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud best practices, security, and cost optimization.
• Troubleshoot complex issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
