Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Commercial & Institutional Sales and Business Development Representative in South Africa. The role focuses on growing opportunities across C&I segments and managing complex, multi-stakeholder deals.

You will build relationships with consultants, contractors, system integrators, end users and channel partners, while driving solution-based sales across electrical and power distribution portfolios.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in Commercial, Institutional, Industrial or infrastructure sales.
• Proven success in solution-based, specification-led or project-driven sales.
• Experience working with consultants, contractors, system integrators, end users and/or public-sector customers.
• Strong technical selling capabilities and ability to engage technical stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute growth strategies across the Commercial & Institutional market.
• Identify, develop and close new business and project opportunities.
• Build and manage a strong opportunity pipeline across target C&I segments.
• Manage complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
• Influence project specifications and position electrical solutions portfolio.
• Maintain accurate CRM data and forecast pipeline.
• Travel up to 75% across South Africa.
