Job summary

WSP Africa seeks a Strategic Asset Management Lead to establish and grow its advisory capability across Africa. You will lead the service line, develop frameworks, and drive ISO 55000 readiness while delivering complex asset optimization engagements.

The role requires a strong track record in asset management consulting, executive stakeholder engagement, and a drive to expand client relationships and market-leading offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Asset Management, Facilities Management, Built Environment, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Proven leadership experience within strategic asset management, infrastructure, or property advisory.
• Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management principles and best practices.
• Demonstrated experience developing and delivering strategic asset management advisory services.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and growth of WSP Africa's Strategic Asset Management service line.
• Develop advisory methodologies, tools, frameworks, and service offerings.
• Establish governance, quality assurance, and technical excellence frameworks.
• Lead advisory engagements on SAMPs, asset policies, risk, lifecycle planning, and benchmarking.
• Develop growth strategy, build client relationships, pursue opportunities, and lead bids.
