Job summary

WSP Africa is seeking a Strategic Asset Management Lead to establish and grow a market-leading advisory capability for asset strategy, lifecycle planning, and portfolio optimization. You will collaborate with asset owners, investors, and operators to shape investments and deliver value across Africa.

Lead cross-functional teams, mentor staff, and drive sustainable advisory offerings with a strong focus on risk, reliability, and performance improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Asset Management, Facilities Management, Built Environment, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Proven leadership experience within strategic asset management, infrastructure, or property advisory.
• Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management principles.
• Demonstrated experience developing and delivering strategic asset management advisory services.
• Track record of building client relationships and winning consulting work.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and growth of WSP Africa’s Strategic Asset Management service line.
• Develop advisory methodologies, tools, frameworks, and service offerings.
• Establish a market-leading Strategic Asset Management proposition aligned with global WSP capabilities.
• Drive implementation of ISO 55000 asset management principles and best practices.
• Develop integrated advisory offerings across Sustainability, Digital, Asset Intelligence, and Transaction Advisory services.
• Establish governance, quality assurance, and technical excellence frameworks across the service line.
